For example, whenever you see "text to buy" in an ad, you just text the keyword to the number shown on the ad. Purchased. It's not difficult to imagine how huge this service is going to be.
It was easy to setup -- took less than 5 mintutes. I signed into the PayPal web site. I entered my cell #, selected a new PIN. Then PayPal called me immediately to verify that I had possession of my phone. I was prompted for my pin. That was it for the one-time setup process.
There are two security features. 1). PayPal will never ask you for your PIN unless you initiate the call. 2). When PayPal calls you the service will always greet you with your name before they ask you to sign in. Anyhoo, call me a geek but it was actually kind of fun to use.
