Windows Media Player 11 is Clunky
Windows Media Player 11 is a clunky piece of crap. To use it is a frustrating and completely unejoyable experience. It sucks. If you have a choice between Windows Media Player 10 vs Media Player 11, do not upgrade. This pop up window should be a warning dialogue.

Reason #1 why Media Player 11 blows
When I drag-n-drop songs onto the lame playlist area the list of the songs in the Library area will start to move. The mousing action is very touchy and I can easily be transported to the bottom of my Library's list. Huh? Wait you stupid list! This is something I would expect from Macromedia maybe. Say what you will about Microsoft but they usually build software with more fluid control.
Reason #1.2
The only way to avoid the moving playlist is to drag my song selections s-l-o-w-l-y, and to pay close attention because one false move and my song list immediately scrolls to the bottom and I have to find my way back to the area I was viewing. Ya that's user friendly -- not!
Macintrash
There is no compact sort/view like there was in Windows Media Player 10. Instead, 11 has the album covers in the listings. Depending upon your music collection some of the album cover images will just be blank placeholders. Ya Great use of space -- not. Bottom line: if I wanted a cheesy eye candy OS I'd buy a Macintrash.
Reason #39
Media Player 11 somehow downloaded the wrong album covers for severa; of my CD's. I did not want it messing with my tags in first place. Who the heck quality tested this thing?
Bad Memory
If I drag some songs onto the Playlist area, then close Media Player 11, when I reopen it my list is empty. Lame!
It's a Drag
Yes, I have to drag songs to the lame Playlist area. I cannot double-click to build the list. This is new to version 11. Hence Reason #1.
Stupid
Last But Not Least. If I double-click a song it starts to play. Uhh, but where the heck is it? It ain't in the Playlist. Stupid!
If you have a choice between Windows Media Player 11 vs 10, stick wtih 10. Because I care about your computing enjoyment, I have designed a new dialogue box to make this an easier choice.
